"Publisher Named At the Lebanon Daily News"

MediaOnePA has appointed Scott Downs to the position of Publisher for the Lebanon Daily News. Prior to joining MediaOnePA, Mr. Downs served as the Director of Sales for Illini Media, an independent nonprofit that handles University of Illinois student media, including a 20,000-circulation daily newspaper, FM radio station, engineering magazine, entertainment publication and Internet sites. As Publisher, Mr. Downs will be heading the implementation of company projects involving the Lebanon Community.

Mr. Downs has more than 12 years experience in the newspaper industry and has worked in media for more than two decades. He earned his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Temple University. Mr. Downs previously worked as the Ad Director for the Evening Sun located in Hanover and as a Retail Ad Manager for the York Newspaper Company prior to moving to Champaign, Illinois in 2004.
